FAQ

Got Questions? We Have Answers.

We've gathered the most common questions about ZYPWN membership, programs, and services to provide you with immediate clarity.

Who is eligible to join the Zimbabwe Young Professional Women's Network (ZYPWN)?

ZYPWN is open to ambitious young women in Zimbabwe who are either starting their careers (e.g., recent graduates), are mid-career professionals, or are entrepreneurs looking for mentorship, guidance, and a powerful network.

How are mentors matched with mentees in The Mentorship Compass Circle?

Mentors are matched with mentees based on industry alignment, specific career goals (e.g., climbing the corporate ladder, entrepreneurship), and desired skill development areas. We ensure a personalized and high-value pairing.

What kind of legal advice does ZYPWN provide?

We offer general legal guidance and host Know-Your-Rights workshops focused on labor law, workplace discrimination, contract negotiation, and professional ethics. Note: We do not act as personal legal representatives.

Are ZYPWN events only focused on formal networking?

No. We offer a mix of high-impact events, including formal professional roundtables, skills-focused workshops, and social mixers to facilitate both casual peer-to-peer connection and senior-level networking.

What is the difference between a "Circle" and a "Program"?

Circles (like the Socialsphere) are ongoing, specialized community groups focused on a theme. Programs (like Mentorship and Career Guidance) are structured services with defined goals and timelines.
